History of business at Olga Godø AS:
In the 1920's the fish-farmers stopped to produce their own fish, and went over to deliver the fish to professional buyers. Petter R. Godø then bought a seahouse used in Hessa (Ålesund) and moved it to Godøya in 1927, the same year as the harbor  was dredged the first time. This seahouse stood until 1993. At present, production takes place in the new premises next to the seahouse. Business has been in the family all the time, and has been important in the local fishing industry at Godøya outside Ålesund.
